Our Team
We bring over 15 years of combined experience to help guide both you and your child through life’s exciting milestones.
Sarah Krebs, PT, DPT
Sarah earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Drexel University in 2009 and began her career at The University of Pennsylvania Hospital, where she worked in both the NICU and orthopedic units. Her early hospital experience shaped her approach to care, teaching her invaluable lessons about healing, compassion, and the resilience of the human body.
After welcoming her first son, Sarah felt a calling to focus her career on pediatrics, blending her clinical expertise with a deep empathy for parents navigating the earliest stages of development. Through her work in Early Intervention, she discovered the power of empowering families and how confident caregivers play a vital role in a child’s growth.
Driven by curiosity and a desire to better understand the body as a whole, Sarah pursued advanced training in the John Barnes Myofascial Release approach, exploring the fascial system and its profound connection between babies and their caregivers. She has also trained with the Visually Impaired Preschool Services (VIPS) program and in Reflex Integration with Karen Pryor, allowing her to support children with a wide range of needs.
Now based in Indiana, Sarah serves families through Logan Center’s First Steps program, bringing a hands-on, heart-first approach to every interaction. Her mission is simple: to help parents feel confident, capable, and connected. She believes therapy should seamlessly fit into everyday life — not as “homework,” but as meaningful moments of growth and bonding.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys baking sourdough, tending her garden, reading her Bible, hiking, and soaking up the sun at the beach. She finds joy in the same simple, meaningful moments she encourages families to cherish each day.
Madison Vaughn, PT, DPT
Maddy earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 2023 — Go Hounds! 🐾 During her clinical rotations in both NICU and outpatient pediatric settings, she discovered her passion for working with children and their families, helping little ones reach milestones through play, connection, and movement.
After graduation, Maddy returned to her hometown and joined Logan Center in South Bend, where she provides physical therapy through the First Steps program for children ages 0–3. She loves meeting families in their natural environments and empowering caregivers with the tools and confidence to support their child’s growth and independence.
Maddy’s approach is hands-on, playful, and family-centered, focusing on functional mobility and strengthening through everyday routines. She believes daily moments offer powerful opportunities for development when families feel supported and informed.
After welcoming her first son in the fall, Maddy’s heart for new parents grew even stronger. She understands how overwhelming and isolating the early months can feel and is passionate about building supportive communities where families can connect, learn, and grow together. Her hope is that families come as strangers and leave as friends — feeling equipped, encouraged, and confident in their parenting journey. 🤍
Outside of work, Maddy enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, staying active, reading her Bible, and traveling to new places. Her joy for life and faith shines through in all she does, both in and out of the therapy room.
