Before you add it to your cart, let's talk about it.
The baby industry is full of products promising to make parenting easier, support development, and keep your baby happy — but how do you know what you actually need?
Join two physical therapists and moms for a one-hour virtual Registry Builder designed to help you think critically about the products you're considering before you click “add to cart.”
This isn't a list of products you have to buy.
Instead, we'll talk through hot-topic baby registry items, what they're designed to do, when they may be useful, and what to consider before bringing them into your home. We'll share the reasoning behind our recommendations so you can make informed decisions that fit your baby, your family, and your lifestyle.
During our virtual session, we'll discuss:
What baby products are truly useful — and which may not be necessary
How certain products can impact movement and development
What to consider when choosing products for sleep, feeding, play, travel, and everyday life
Commonly marketed baby gear and the questions you should ask before purchasing
How to think beyond the product itself and consider your baby's developmental needs
The questions we recommend asking yourself before adding something to your registry
Your questions! Bring your registry, your “do I really need this?” items, and anything you've been wondering about.
What you'll receive:
1-Hour Live Virtual Registry Builder
Join us on Zoom for an interactive discussion led by two pediatric physical therapists with more than 15 years of combined experience.
Firm Foundations Registry Guide
You'll receive our downloadable guide to reference as you build your registry and make decisions throughout your baby's first year.
A New Way to Think About Baby Gear
Our goal isn't to tell you exactly what to buy. It's to give you the knowledge and confidence to ask better questions before you buy.
Because you don't need all the things.
You need the right things for your family.

Our Class Style
Our classes are designed to feel welcoming, warm, and inclusive—a place where parents can relax, connect, and learn without pressure. We believe there are no silly questions, and every family deserves a safe, supportive space to grow in confidence.
Classes are laid back and hands-on, with plenty of opportunities to learn through doing. We provide clear demonstrations and then guide parents as they practice strategies during class, offering real-time feedback and encouragement. Our goal is for you to leave feeling confident and empowered to take these skills home and continue supporting your child’s development.
Above all, our classes are about building community—connecting parents with trusted professionals and with one another. You don’t have to figure it out alone. We’re here to walk alongside you as you build strong foundations for your child.
